Comprehensive, trauma-informed risk assessment and personalised safety planning to enhance immediate and longer-term safety, reduce risk, and strengthen protective factors.

9. Collaborative and Integrated Service Coordination
Working in partnership with government agencies, specialist domestic, family and sexual violence services, health providers, legal services, housing providers, and community organisations to promote coordinated, integrated, and victim-survivor-centred responses.

10. Human Rights-Based Psychoeducation Groups
Facilitated group programs grounded in trauma-informed, feminist, and human rights principles. These groups support participants to understand the dynamics and impacts of violence, strengthen safety, build confidence, and support recovery.

11. Lived Experience Leadership and Community Projects
Co-designing initiatives alongside victim-survivors to strengthen community responses and improve systems.

12. Financial Resilience

This may include:

  • Information about financial abuse and economic recovery.
  • Assistance to access emergency relief and financial support programs.
  • Support to navigate government payments and available victim-survivor assistance.
  • Referrals to financial counsellors, financial capability services, and specialist economic support programs.
  • Advocacy to reduce financial barriers that impact safety, housing, employment, education, and recovery.
  • Support to develop financial confidence, independence, and future planning.

Our approach recognises that financial security is a critical protective factor that strengthens safety, promotes self-determination, and enables women to rebuild their lives with dignity, confidence, and choice.
